Director of Community Engagement
Heights Hill Mental Health Services, CAB/Rainbow Heights Club is seeking a full time Director of Community Engagement to coordinate our outreach and education activities to both internal and external stakeholders.
Peer Specialists (Part-Time)
Heights Hill Mental Health Services, CAB/Rainbow Heights Club is actively seeking part-time Peer Specialists. Rainbow heights is a non-for profit psychosocial support and advocacy program serving people living with mental illness that identify with the LGBTQ community. A successful candidate will have previous experience working as a peer or in behavioral health settings in addition to Peer Specialist training (e.g. Howie the Harp, NAMI, Mental Health Empowerment Project, etc). Candidates should also be competent in working with and supporting LGBTQ+ individuals.
Rainbow Heights Club is focused on increasing the role of peer specialists on our team. Peer Specialist Interns provide most direct consumer services at the club. Peer Specialist Interns share their lived experience as one who has been there in terms of mental illness and recovery.
We frequently offer Peer Specialist positions for persons who have completed a recognized mental health peer training program.
These entry-level opportunities allow both the peer and the agency to become better acquainted, with some peer specialists being offered ongoing part-time employment.
