At Rainbow Heights Club, building community is an important part of our programming. It is also important that our members are equipped to make healthier choices when it comes to spending their limited food budgets.

As part of the Rainbow Heights Club day, we offer a free meal to our members who have participated in the day’s activities. Members participate in all aspects of the Member Nutrition Program from menu planning to grocery shopping and helping to prepare, serve and clean up after the meal.

We share the responsibilities as we build community.

We offer healthier food alternatives suggested by our members such as a fresh green salad served with meals, whole grain breads and pastas, vegetarian options, as well as low-fat dairy products and sugar free beverages.

So, if you would like to be a part of our Evening Meal Program, you must first be a member of the club. Current members can participate simply by volunteering to help out with part of the meal service, shopping or clean up.
